About The Event

“Laksha Yuva Gala Gitarchana” is a first of its kind massive gathering for chanting by the youth. The event aims to spread valuable teachings of Bhagavad Gita, for an empowered, enlightened and a fulfilled life among the youth. This is a free to register and participate event for everyone. Participants are required to register on www.gitarchana.com following which they will be categorised as “Below 40” and Above 40” age groups.

“Laksha Yuva Gala Gitarchana” which will be held on the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, will witness one lakh youth chant the selected 40 verses from the 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita, in unison on one single platform, generating positive vibrations within oneself and the environment around. Bhagavad Gita, a source of inspiration to many great leaders can motivate the youth to perform their duties to society and country with righteousness.

In its efforts to cultivate good values among the youth in building a progressive nation and protecting humanity, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Telangana Division, is conducting this event particularly aimed at the Youth – the driving force of this nation. Esteemed dignitaries and seers are expected to grace the event that will impart the message of moral values, social order and an ideal life.

The event will present insightful discourse from renowned scholars and spiritual leaders. The programme will also include cultural activities.

Objective of the event

India’s youth is the powerful force that can shape the destiny of the country. And this force can rise higher with the divine power of Bhagavad Gita as a precious personality development tool to bring spontaneous motivation among the youth.

India is all set to celebrate Azadi ka Mahotsav the monumental occasion commemorating 75 years of India’s independence which was the result of valiant efforts of our freedom fighters. From Mahatma Gandhi to Bal Gangadhar Tilak to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and many others, these patriots drew inspirations from the Bhagavad Gita to win independence for the Motherland. They placed the nation before the self and sacrificed their lives to liberate the country from the shackles of colonial rule.

This freedom earned through heroism and courage must be valued and protected by every citizen by following strong values. Understanding the true essence of the Bhagavad Gita and reading it regularly helps youth think clearly, build confidence, cultivate ideal values and inculcate a positive attitude. Boosting the youth’s participation in this event will help shape better society and a progressive nation.

“Laksha Yuva Gala Gitarchana” is a sincere attempt to make the Bhagavad Gita experience richer and valuable in everyday living. This massive chanting by one lakh voices on one single platform will inspire millions to learn the Bhagavad Gita and adopt it as a guide to lead an ideal life.

Collectively recite 40 selected slokas from the 18 chapters of the Gita.
Participate in various cultural programmes
Gain deep insights on Gita from motivational talks delivered by eminent spiritual leaders and priests.
Don't miss the spectacular laser show on "Dashavataram" at the end of the event.
A certificate of appreciation will be presented to every participants who are chanting Bhagavad Gita Slokas at this event.

It is a free to register event.

I have not read Gita, Can I still attend?

Of course, you can attend even if you have not read the book. The event will enable you to understand the true essence of Bhagavad Gita, an ancient scripture from the epic Mahabharat.
